  • Enterprise Software Project Manager (Virtual Office)

    Our Culture

    The Position

    • You will document scope for KBMax configurator projects for clients.
    • You will manage deliverables, meetings, and progress completion for KBMax configurator projects.
    • You will acts as a main point of contact for customer during configurator implementation process.  (You must be comfortable speaking to customers both over the phone and in person.)
    • You will ensure that project team and customers adhere to project schedule.
    • You will document and handle project scope changes, communicate revised project schedule and facilitate change orders for customer approval.
    • You will keep upper management informed by reporting on project status such as: identifying risks, tests, costs, issues, and performance to established targets on a regular basis.
    • You will monitor business and technical issues to establish what is being done and where improvements are possible.
    • You will monitor project closure reporting to insure orders are closed in a timely manner.
    • You will provide occasional Technical Support and Customer Service to end-users via telephone,e-mail,and webinars.  
    • You will telecommute with occasional meetings at our Austin and San Jose offices or customer sites in the US and Europe.

    Required

    • Software Project Management Experience
    • Capable of working independently, self-driven, and meeting multiple deadlines.

  • C# Backend Developer - Virtual Office

    You will telecommute with periodic meetings at our San Jose offices and occasionally travel to customer sites in the US and Europe.  We will consider exceptional applicants located anywhere.     As a KBMax developer, you will utilize your mastery of C# and SQL to engineer the back-end of our next generation cloud-based configurator platform.  You will utilize current and powerful technologies like Web Api, SQL Azure, and Elastic Search to develop a reliable and performant system that drives our new and creative user experiences.  Your work will require a focus on collaboration, accessibility, and globalization, and will be used on a myriad of clients on different devices (desktop, tablets, mobile).

    You will be flexible and adaptive in your work, and have a strong and persistent desire to learn.  As you become comfortable at KBMax, you will be encouraged to grow and expand your horizons.  We have many fields of expertise for a developer to expand into, including 3D (WebGL & CAD API’s), Enterprise Software Integration (Salesforce.com, ERP), Web APIs, Cloud Architecture, Databases & Search (Lucene).

    You will be comfortable talking to customers, demoing your work in front of small audiences, and speak fluent English.  Communication is paramount at KBMax.

    Responsibilities:

    • Architect, develop, maintain and test our next generation cloud configurator platform C# server code and SQL Azure database
    • Collaborate with a small team of developers in a fast-paced agile environment
    • Engage with KBMax engineers and customers for feedback, feature requests, and solutions

    Required Qualifications:

    • BA/BS or equivalent experience
    • Languages: C#, TSQL
    • Libraries:  Azure, ASP.NET Web Api
    • Experience: REST-ful API’s, Unit Tests

    Extra Points for Experience in:

    • Medium scale cloud system architecture experience
    • Enterprise Software Integration (CRM, ERP)
